TOO MUCH TWO TONE
Two Tone led by The Special AKA, was a record label, a trend and a movement. This musical revolution hit Britain in the late seventies and referenced Ska and Blue Beat. Great imagery and graphics great live bands and great attitudes. What it also did was create unity amongst the young. Ghost Town was something of a high point and was probably the last great political song to hit big and be number one; The right place at the right time. MMost of the main bands went their own way but retained the ethos. The Two Tone phenomenon was new, nostalgic important and a lot of fun.
