GORILAS AT LARGE


Thrills and spills

I don't know what it is but there is a certain something about Ape costumes in the movies. Be it in a Mad Scientists laboratory, a Haunted House, The Swiss Alps or running amok in a small town with a helpless glamour girl in arms a film with a guy in a Gorilla costume will always have merit because it is a movie with a guy in a Gorilla costume! Mark Cousin's alluded to such in his recent mega doc on the story of film.

Even the greatest Movie is improved by having a guy in a Gorilla costume appear. Example:
