One of my favourite songs Ain't No Mountain High Enough is one of the great songs and generally great songs have a definitive version, however in this case the two most well known are both superb in their own ways. Marvin and Tammi's is a wonderful and joyous interpretation while Ross' (with the Supremes and The Temptations) is an epic.
These records capture Tamla Motown in it's pomp and feature the king and queen of Motown.
Featured in many movies, notably Remember the Titans. It is a song that is so good that it became something of an anthem.
