Apparently the Australians want to change their flag, as they feel it has too strong a link with Britain. They should do so; something with bars on it should be appropriate...
Actually JJ the reason the flag needs to be changed isnt because its too english its about reconciliation with the indigenous owners of this land that were subject to genocidal attrocities at the hands of the british invaders and more recently australians. Its only fair after all. FFS the english dont want the Union Jack either!

ReplyDeletethe British do want the union Flag, unfortunately it is attached to the Flag of a country whose contribution to global culture is Rolf Harris.
