Pete Bagge one of the masters of the independent comic scene along with Daniel Clowes, Charles Burns and Los Bros Hernandez. He takes a skewed look at evertday America and the absurdity within its inhabitants. As a draftsman his style is unique, as a story teller his dry wit and sense of the bizarre hidden within the ordinary is second to none. Even when he takes on mainstream Comic characters he gives them his own twist derived from his acute sense of observation. His work has expanded from his ongoing independent work into dabbling in the mainstream, album covers and toys.
