ELEKTRA LIVES AGAIN-FRANK MILLER
In talking about Comic Book artists I had to mention Frank Miller. Exceptional and best known for the game changing The Dark Knight Returns and other works including Sin City and 300. My favourite piece of his work is 1990s Elektra Lives Again. Each page is a work of art in it's own right and I feel encapsulates Millers greatness. His long time collaborator Lynne Varley adds gorgeous colour and balance. The story is one of love and loss (and action). For anyone who doubts the visual power of the comic book take a look at this excellent Graphic Novel.
