Funny, I had completely forgotten M:I used to have clips from the proceeding episode interspersed in the theme. I'm sure it's not a coincidence that SPACE: 1999 (featuring M:I stars Martin Landau and Barbara Bain) did the same thing (at least in the first series). Whaddaya know!
