Biscuit world cup 2011
The great British Buscuit. Not the artisan, hand baked, organic biscuit, no, the standard ‘get ‘em in any shop’ biccie is what I’m talking about. Can’t include Kit-Kat or Penguin; they are in the sweets envelope. Jaffa cakes? Not sure if they are a biscuit or mini cake. Cadbury’s fingers? No they are the wrong shape. So many biscuits out that to dunk or not to dunk. But which is best? There’s only one way to find out
- McVities Chocolate digestive
- HobNobs
- Custard creams
- Boasters
- Digestive
- Bourbons
- Cadburys shortcake
Jaffa CakeGaribaldi- Ginger nut
- Viennesse
Biscuit Rap
Having, for the first time ever, successfully given up chocolate for Lent I long for a McVitie's chocolate digestive. But what really turns me on is a fig roll (is that a biccy?) although like the humble Jaffa cake the fig roll has shrunk in size and filling in recent years. Quality Choc bourbons are tempting as well.
