LONDON'S LIVING GUIDE

Time Out London

Time Out was once an essential magazine for those living in London. It was the first and best guide to what was happening in London. It featured provocative and interesting articles alongside it's listings, reviews and ratings. Time Out was also a highly political read and often was charged with controversy; a healthy element of Guerrilla journalism flourished in its heyday.Over the years it has gone the way of most other magazines, courting populist cover stars and printing interviews that are little more than advertisements of the subject's latest projects. Inevitably it has become a free paper with the restrictions and compromises that involves, but once it was the heavy hitter that grabbed attention with exciting and inventive covers wrapped around a content that was always interesting and informative...with a healthy dose of cynicism.
