One too many insults and ZZ decided "sod this, Ive got nothing to prove as a footballer; take that you prick" In that moment it wasn't disgrace, it was admiration. The man, the player had just had enough and it gave an insight into the pride that ZZ had as a player. Simply the best, he had won everything and this pipsqueak would have to take what he was given. ZZ had everything a player could want and he was hard as nails.
